In the South of Argentinian Patagonia, the quiet and peaceful Reserva Laguna Nimez stretches out just a few steps from the town of El Calafate. This reserve is named after the small lake that borders the vast Lago Argentino, Laguna Nimez. It shelters on its almost marshy banks many water birds, but also birds of prey and other migratory passerines.
