Pierre-Lou shares here this impressive experience that he has lived in Finnish Lapland alongside Jarmo Ahtinen and Olli-Pekka Karlin, two passionate and experienced eagle ringers.
After an important tracking work led by Petri Piisilä to locate the nests, Jarmo and Olli-Pekka go to the different sites to capture and mark the non-flying chicks on the nest, perched atop the tall trees. Threatening little chicks that sometimes weigh more than 4 kilos!
