After a week at Ottenby Bird Observatory in Sweden at the end of April, Pierre-Lou went to Stockholm to take a ferry to Turku in southern Finland.
The archipelago of Turku is a privileged stage for the migration of many species. Pierre-Lou has already visited two islands: in Bengtskär to photograph common eiders and then to the Jurmo Bird Observatory. Now, he is about to discover Aasla, well accompanied by the researcher Lennart Saari who carries out follow-ups for more than 40 years.
After that, Pierre-Lou will go through the University of Turku to present our project and the first results in pictures, before continuing to the North!
