The final exhibition of the POOL project has just been installed at the Turku Botanical Garden (Finland) and will be on display until November 23, 2025!
This presentation brings together all the works produced within the project: Radka’s paintings, Pierre-Lou’s photographs, videos by Luna, Katja, and Joonas, as well as scientific posters… A unique opportunity to explore the temporary wetlands of the Finnish boreal forest from multiple perspectives, at the intersection of art and science.

Two special events are planned during the exhibition:
Children’s workshop on November 1st, to explore nature and wetlands in a playful and creative way.
Closing conference and workshop on November 22nd, to reflect on the project and its discoveries, and discuss the preservation of these fragile ecosystems.
This exhibition showcases the richness of collaborations between researchers and artists, allowing the public to immerse themselves in a world that is both scientific and poetic, revealing the subtle beauty of Finnish vernal pools.
A big thank-you to Céline Arzel and the team at the Botanical Garden for their warm welcome and help with installing the exhibition!
