Vernal pools and ducks at PEDS7!

On 18 August 2025, Pierre-Lou had the opportunity to present his exhibition ‘Finnish vernal pools through the seasons’ at the 7th Pan-European Duck Symposium (PEDS7), held at Kristianstad University in southern Sweden.

This international event brings together researchers, naturalists and wildlife managers from all over Europe (and beyond) to discuss the latest advances in duck research and conservation. My images were combined with scientific stories to offer a different perspective on temporary wetlands and their habitats.
